SECRET PROJECT #1 ANNOUNCEMENT

I am opening a call for authors to submit short stories that I will publish into an anthology through my publishing company, First Fruit Press!

Not all authors have time to finish a full novel, but that shouldn't be a gatekeeper to being published. Writers of all ages and skill levels are invited to submit stories, between 3000-5000k words, of any genre (fantasy, small-town romance, horror, thriller, etc) centered around YOUR area's local legends and unique lore!

Is your state known for potatoes? Craft a short fiction story around it! Is Mothman known to lurk in your neighbor's backyard? Awesome! I want a story about it!

The submission deadline will be February 15th, 2025. Selected authors will receive $25 dollars and 3 author copies, with more available upon request!

The submission form will be available until Feb 15th! Do you have middle/high schoolers that love to write? Encourage them to submit, as well! Share with your friends and community!
